Did this ride replace Batman?

Is it a completely new ride?

Is it basically the same as Batman but inside?

I've heard all these things, which is it?!

If you have seen/rode Ragin Cajun in the Mardi Gras section you have rode the dark knight.

This ride did not replace the Batman ride. The Batman ride is a landmark rollercoaster and will never move from its current spot.

The dark knight is a completely new ride with a dark knight movie themed queue line.

Its not the same as Batman in the line. It has movie themed section pertaining to the dark knight movie.

Overall this ride is horrible though. Its a waste of 7.5 million dollars and will likely be scrapped in the future for a ride of some actually quality.

If you love rollercoasters with big drops and turns this isnt your ride.

With The Dark Knight Coaster, guests experience the ride of their lives. Venturing through demented hallways of twists, turns and hallucinatory images, they are tormented by The Joker himself. Then as they set foot onto a distressed, vandalized train platform, they can only guess at what awaits them as they speed through six 180-degree hairpin turns, climb unseen hills, plunge into pitch darkness and dip into unforeseen danger. As they attempt to escape the terror, their only hope is that Gotham's Silent Guardian — Batman — can save them.

This is the description of Batman:

Hang from the track in a ski lift-style chair, with your feet dangling below
