Rajon Rondo had a triple-double as the Boston Celtics reclaimed their first spot in opposition to Miami Heat at TD Garden, Boston, MA on Sunday. Celtics trounce in their last meeting against Los Angeles Lakers assisted Miami to acquire the top position from
the home team.  However, the visiting side was unable to sustain what they achieved last week as the Boston whitewashed them for the third time this season.
"This is typical big brother stuff, and you got to get over it. I've been through it before; LeBron's been through it before with the Pistons....You've got to get over the hump trounce and we're getting close, so we continue to learn from it."

Dwayne Wade stated after losing three straight games to the Celtics.
Heat managed to lead the first quarter comprehensively 20-15 as James scored his 8 of 22 points of the game. Paul Pierce missed four shots in the first period which continued for him throughout the game. Heat took 43-39 lead as the game progressed into the
first half. Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade carried the momentum for Miami in the second period restricting the opposition to cut down the deficit.
Undermanned Celtics escalated a splendid play in the third quarter taking the game away from the visiting team. Garnett Perkins and Rondo constrained the opposition to score as they provided 13 points advantage to Celtics in the final quarter.
Miami Heat retaliated stoutly in the defining moments of the play putting the game in a thrilling situation. Heat managed to cut down the lead 83-81 with 18.2 seconds remaining after the regular timeout.
Lebron James’ foul followed by a crucial free throw missed with 12.5 seconds left was the turning point of the game. Davis availed the opportunity of the two free throws with 6.2 seconds to the game which led the Celtics for a close 85-82 victory.
Highlight of the night was Rondo with 11 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists whereas Chris Bosh scored a game-high 24.
Having nearly half of the team members sidelined due to injury, Boston Celtics showed remarkable resistance in an important game after two consecutive defeats. Paul Pierce had a worst day of his career scoring only 1 point from a free throw and missing all
of his 10 shots. He stated afterwards that he is having problems with his hand and foot injuries and looking forward to have an MRI on his left foot.
However, good a thing for the Celtics was that Pierce’s bad day didn’t come in their victory on such an important night for the team. The franchise expects him to recover soon as they cannot afford any more injuries.
On the other hand, Miami’s eight straight wins ended on Sunday night. The team is performing exceptionally well, however lost control in the last seconds of the play which ended in their defeat. They still match the number of wins with Boston Celtics as
the game is open to regain the top spot once again.
