The Canon Powershot S5 IS..........?

I was thinking about purchasing this camera for myself. Do you think I should? Who has one, and what should I look out for?

The Canon S5IS is an awesome camera.  I particularly like it because of the 12x Optical Zoom which also operates during Video mode.

It's also smaller than many other Digicams in its class, has a Hot Shoe Flash and is SDHC and ISO1600 capable.  It uses AA batteries which are available in most places internationally if you get stuck with dead primary batteries.  I like the adjustable LCD angle as well.

The only other things I wish it had is a CF slot, wireless remote and underwater case.

I've been looking at it for awhile now, but I guess I'm waiting for it to drop below $300 before I pick it up.  Good luck, I think you'd enjoy it!
