So I have a few questions I want to ask you about the book. I will not use your information just contradict it with my own.

tell about each of the following: 1) the most humorous incident, 2) the most exciting happening, 3)the most interesting event, and 4)the part you liked the most.

  1. 1. There were so many of them! But my favorite was Holden's chat with Ackley, when they were both in Holden's room at Pencey. Ackley's such a character, he always made me laugh. Remember when Ackley asked Holden for his scissors so he could cut off a hangnail? Holden got the scissors from a suitcase in his closet and when he did so Stradlater's tennis racket (in its wooden press) fell on his head; when Ackley saw that he started laughing like crazy. Nice fellow. ;-)

    2. The most exciting part I guess would have to be when Sunny and Maurice ganged up on Holden in the hotel room, when Holden wouldn't pay Sunny.

    3. The most interesting part was when Holden secretly visited his kid sister Phoebe in their parent's apartment. It was the only scene where Holden interacted with a member of his family and I found it interesting to read about. Holden mentions various family members in the book but we only really got to meet Phoebe. I found it touching and sweet to see how Holden treated his sister.

    4. My favorite part was very short: when Holden was in the cab talking about the ducks in Central Park. I loved how Holden and the cabdriver interacted with each other. It's hard to pick one favorite scene or part though, the whole book is so wonderful.
