The Celtic Warrior, Sheamus defeats Captain Charisma, Christian during h**l in a Cell – WWE News
The Celtic Warrior took a tremendous victory in the first match of WWE’s pay-per-view segment, h**l in a Cell on October 2 at the New Orleans Centre in New Orleans, Louisiana by defeating Captain Charisma, Christian in a challenge match.
The Celtic Warrior already promised to put Christian beneath his boot during Friday Night SmackDown last week on September 30 when Christian attacked Sheamus during his fight against the Intercontinental Champion, Cody Rhodes. The Irish Superstar kept his
promise and really put Christian beneath his boot.
The h**l in a Cell segment started with the first match between Sheamus and Christian. Michael Cole, Jim Ross and Booker T were at the announcers table except Jerry Lawler. Before the fight, the ex-WWE Superstars, The Miz and R-Truth also appeared in the
crowd with tickets in their hands. They took their place at ringside, while John Laurinaitis came out and put both of them out of the arena.
Captain Charisma came out first while Celtic Warrior came out later among the huge pop of the WWE Universe. When the bell rang for the fight, Sheamus got momentum and quickly beat Christian down and got him on the apron. Sheamus slammed Christian down to
the mat and then put him into a side headlock. Sheamus continued to nail down Christian for long periods of time.
Christian got some momentum when he threw Sheamus on the floor while The Celtic Warrior climbed on the upper rope. It was then Christian’s turn and he continued to beat Sheamus for a while. Sheamus made a comeback with full strength and started dropping
a knee on Christian.
Captain Charisma hit a dangerous spear on the floor but could not get the victory as Sheamus entered the ring until the referee counted eight. Christian once again speared Sheamus but got only a two count. At the end, Sheamus tried to hit the “Celtic Cross”
but Christian escaped and countered with a Killswitch. The Celtic Warrior also blocked it and finally hit a Brogue Kick for the three count victory. The WWE Universe cheered and applauded Sheamus on a tremendous victory.
