The Cenation Commander-in-Chief, John Cena chooses his partner for Survivor Series – WWE Update
The Cenation Commander-in-Chief, John Cena unveiled his tag team partner for his match against the Miz and R-Truth at the upcoming pay-per-view event “Survivor Series” during Monday Night Raw on October 24.
Last Sunday during Vengeance, the Champ was set to fight the WWE Champion, Alberto Del Rio for the title shot in the “Last Man Standing Match”. When Cena was near to winning the match, the team of Miz and R-Truth attacked him and cost him the WWE Championship.
To have payback from the team of Miz and Truth, Cena was put into a fight against both teaming up with Zack Ryder during Monday Night Raw as the main event.
Afterwards, the Interim Raw General Manager, John Laurinaitis announced that only Cena will face Miz and Truth in a 2-on-1 handicap match. The Cenation Leader came with pride into the ring among the huge pop from the WWE Universe. Miz and Truth told the
WWE Universe that they were greater than all including John Cena because they were Truth and Awesome.
The Miz and Cena started the bout where John beat down the Miz taking him into the corner. Later on, Miz tagged Truth and Cena took him down as well. Within five minutes, Cena was ready to hit the Miz an Attitude Adjustment after delivering a Five Knuckle
Shuffle. Truth came inside and disqualified the match by hitting Cena with a water bottle.
After the match, Truth and Miz double teamed and started beating Cena. Miz delivered Cena a Skull Crushing Finale and Truth also delivered his finishing hit. The Interim GM came out and ordered them to stop saying that he was tired of being disrespected.
While Miz and Truth reached on the ramp, Laurinaitis asked them to stop as he was having an idea for a match. The Interim GM announced “Cena and a partner of his choice vs. The Miz and R-Truth” for Survivor Series.
The Champ took the microphone as the crowd chanted for the Rock. Cena stated that his partner for the tag team match will be the one who could bring it. Cena chose the Rock as his partner for Survivor Series.
