I know that this year will be the first year that the Chicago Blackhawks will have thier games home and away on WGN Radio 720. But the question that I am wondering, what year was the Chicago Cubs's first season on WGN Radio? If anybody knows the year, and even has a source to the answer, please feel free to post it.

First broadcast of a Cubs game on WGN radio was the annual series between the Cubs and the White Sox (played after the season) in 1924. The first regular season broadcast was opening day of 1925, and the 1926 season featured WGN broadcasting opening day and all Saturday home games, and beginning in1927 WGN broadcast all home games of both the Cubs and the White Sox.
