If I like Narnia, what other books would you recommend me to read?

Note: I'd like it be around medieval era, having lots of mythicalbeasts and kingdoms, I don't want it to be too serious, I want it to be advanterous.

By the way, I went to the bookstore and saw a book, "Septimus Heap". Do you think it could be the right book for me? Is it anything like I described above?

Thank you so much...!!

  1. yes, you'd definetly like septimus heap. im reading it now and its very good, but more about wizards and protecting a princess then Narnia stuff, but you'd like it

you may also like the lost journals of ven polypheme, its medival-ish. its a little bit darker but still fun and exciting

Fablehaven is a good read too, lots of magical creatures and evil creatures, its really good

  2. The Septimus Heap books would be a good read.  Also try Robert Asprin's 'Myth Adventures' books.  They fit your description to a T.

  3. I'd also recommend Lloyd Alexander's "Chronicles of Prydain".  It's a series of five books, and a great read.

  4. Red Prophet series by Orson Scott Card

  5. Some of the King Arthur books would be good. Those were also some of C.S. Lewis's favorites.

  6. The Hobbit by J. R. Tolkein
