My friend and I are going from London to Paris in April, is there a certain day of the week that is cheaper?

Off peak is usually when booked in advance, particularly mid-week.

Availability is a big issue.  STA travel has student discounts for the chunnel and live access to availability.  You'll have to buy a student discount card (ISIC) (I think they're about $25) but the card is good for a year and will give you a TON of discounts in Europe.

Eurostar have a £59 return from London to Paris with limited availability. You need to book as far in advance as possible. Mondays and Tuesdays are obviously less busy than Fridays
