  1. Clean windows for a change.

  2. I think it's good and I also think that those idiotic Bishops that quit just because of this are hypocritical as they claim to follow the teachings of Jesus and God, yet they go against "everyone is equal" by quitting because of female Bishops

  3. Two points:

    1. s*x discrimination is unlawful everywhere else, so why not in the church?

    2. According to the bible, the risen Christ first revealed himself to Mary Magdalen, So why the hostility to women? If a woman was good enough for the Son of God, then why not the Church of England?

  4. Hahaha, I never thought of that.  Seriouisly though, it looks like liberalism has invaded the church.  lol, dusting.  Don't forget: The Pope needs his hat ironed before mass.  lol.

  5. you pig!

    i think its amazing.

equality for women all the way.

why shouldnt women be able to fight for their beliefs and their faith as men do.

  6. .ascribing ur aside to intentional irony..this represents the very essence of the dichotomy between religious belief and adherence and the exercise of logic and reason as to which is subordin8. Theologies are destroyed by falsification...scientific theories on the contrary are advanced by them. Taking a god's eye view of the proceedings of the C of E or indeed any other religious hegemony..the question is which practice preserves best the benefits of the majority of the believers? I am sure for example that many of the Jesuits at the time of the trial of Galileo agreed with his arguments about the movement of the earth, but felt that the social revolution and upheaval caused to society was too great a price at that time (particularly at the specific time when the church of rome was beseiged on oppo sides from both protestantism and humanism). Sometimes 'the truth' will set you free..sometimes it hurts..sometimes it can kill!

  7. Finally!  We are coming back to our traditions.

Traditionally, Christianity welcomed women, foreigners, and others who were not welcomed into Judeism to worship freely together without restrain or restriction.  Women and anyone with faith were allowed to break bread (eat his body)and share wine (drink his blood), and to share that symbol with others.  And, slowly, the church had put together council after council restricting and mystifying a clear and and open religion.

I hope the Catholic Church is forced to follow its Protestant brothers or be left behind.

  8. I think it's very amusing to see such an achaic establishment being dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century.

Religion on the whole is not exactly known for equality and rights for women at the best of times.

  9. Good idea

  10. Gender plays an important role.  We can't pick and choose what we believe from the Bible.  That would be implying that it is not the Holy Word.  Go by the Bible and trust in the one true God.

  11. They marry g**s in that church now so why not have female priests?

  12. Yep like it, we are all equal, why not x

  13. I was married by a lady vicar

she was lovely and did a great job

Hard to understand why there has been so much resistance to women taking these roles
