I trying to register my email with members of my church. They have an email address on yahoogroups.com. How do I do that? Can you please tell me? I would really like to know.

If you just want to join their mailing list, without having access to their Group's other features, then send a blank e-mail to [e-mail] (replacing GroupName with the actual name of their Group, of course).  I would not advise that, though, because I've heard that joining and leaving a Yahoo Group with the e-mail commands can be glitchy.

The more reliable way to join their Group is to go to the Yahoo Groups home page ( http://groups.yahoo.com/ ).  At the top of the page, you should see a Sign In link just above a Sign Up link.  If you already have a Yahoo ID (login name), then click the Sign In link, and sign in with your Yahoo ID and password.  If you don't have a Yahoo ID, then click the Sign Up link, and follow the directions on the resulting page.

After you've signed in, you need to register your e-mail address with Yahoo Groups.  Do this by going to http://groups.yahoo.com/member/preferenc... , then clicking the Add Email Address link towards the upper-left-hand corner.  Follow the directions on the resulting page to enter and verify your e-mail address with Yahoo Groups.

After you've done that, you need to go to the home page of their Group.  It should be http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ immediately followed by the name of their Group (no spaces).  Once you've done that, click the Join This Group button on the right-hand side of the page.  Once you've chosen all your Group settings on the resulting page, then clicked the Join button towards the lower-right-hand corner of the page, then you're a full-fledged member of the Group.
