I'm finished with the book (despite my shock...I'm still surprised). But what does the cover mean?

I think I know, but I'm not sure. Even after the fact that I just finished. Any ideas?

  1. It tells you right in the book. It references chess and everything.

Basically, Bella blended in with everyone else as a human. She didn't stand out whatsoever. She was a pawn, and the white shade of the pawn doesn't make you stop and look, it also blends in.

But as a vampire, Bella is now the fastest, strongest, ect. She is immune to the others powers, and surpassed the whole newborn thirst stage. She is something that has never been created before, which is why she's the queen chess piece now.
