I'm a Cubs fan, but, unfortunately, it doesn't mean THAT MUCH right now. The only thing that really matters is who can get to 10 wins first in the postseason and win the WS. I'm not going to say it doesn't mean anything because they need to keep winning to keep the Brewers at bay, but it's definitely not as substantial as holding up a trophy at the end of the season.

Cubs are the team to beat in the NL, I've been saying this all season and yet I get abused. They must be ready to step it up in postseason. They look like they are poised both pitching and hitting for warfare against the pretenders of the league! Really is nice also to see the Yankees bandwagon losing another wheel. The Cubs may have won their last 9 series, but until they win the World Series, what does it mean then?  You can play well in the regular season but if you fail in the play offs, then will winning 9 series in row even be a topic to talk about.  The Cubs are a good team but until they win a WS, Cub fans have nothing to talk about in my book

It means there hot and there team is looking good and I truly believe this is the year the Cubs finally do it. I'm a Jays fan but I can guarantee that in the playoffs I'll be hoping the Cubs win. That is if the Jays don't get in the playoffs.
