  1. "They are the backbone of this country," to quote Travis Tritt.  I don't think the kind of music people listen to should determine anything other than the kind of music they like.  Having said that, in a bad situation, I'd rather have a country music fan standing by my side than someone from the white wine and brie crowd.  I know I can trust the former; the latter might be questionable.

  2. Who listens to music?

    t

  3. Doesn't the Geneva Convention expressly prohibit the use of "Country Music" as an instrument of torture. Waterboard me if you must, but not "Achy Breaky Feck me Shaky".

  4. HEY - I listen to country music... :-( *Sulks*

  5. How bout Heavy Metal?

  6. Of course not.

Anyone who prefers ballads that involve tales of getting hammered and driving a tractor into a Waffle House is not worthy of my demographic.

  7. Only if accompanied by background banjo music and noises from cows that have been unnaturally sated

  9. Vot still don't get it.

    Hug?

  10. absolutely and why shouldn't they?

  11. Only if it's a situation dealing with who's turn it is to sleep in the pig pen tonight.

  12. Well let's see. I'm what you call a liberal and my favorite music is cowboy jazz.

Most rednecks don't even know whgat cowboy jazz is. Most Yankees hate country music no matter what style.

People are really stupid and narrow minded about music.

Who cares what people think. All music is good if it's played from the heart... Not just one style or another. And any one can have an  open mind no matter where they come from.

Does that help you, or offend your narrow world view?

  13. Of course they should have a say.  It doesn't mean they need to be taken seriously though.
