  1. Yes

  2. I dont think so...................

just ignore these girls and concentrate on the game...........

    cricket is too good

  3. not at all

  4. nope

  5. Hey there,

I am not a fan of Cricket match but i just wanted to answer this Q.

I havent watched any cricket games before n i got no idea wht girls r u talking abt in Cricket match, but wht made u think tht girls puts down any game's dignity? arent there many girls who just loves cricket matches as much as man do?! n they support their favourite teams as good as men do?! so why say they bring down tht game's dignity?

  6. Thats just a commercial aspect of the game, having cheerleaders is not a bad thing in sports & the T20 format, rain of 6s & 4s, music, bollywood celebrities.. its all to make it more entertaining.

  7. no

  8. yes the girls may bring the dignaty of the game down but i cant understand why did you sat -the drinks?...

The players do need to drink you know...

  9. Nope , i still have the same patience and passion towards the cricket and i dont' watch the dancing (bar) girls on the field , rather i would love to watch the players playing cricket. No one can change the dignity of cricket by mere things like girls or drinks on field .. it's just temperory

  10. No. Never. U r an idiot !

  11. On the contrary they provide amusement as Harbhajan and Sreesanth bring the dignity down.

  12. What u really mean becoz of girls? is that dancing girls u are talking about? If not then cricket is a game that should also be liked by girls..See we all like ladies wrestling and many of us are crazy about DIVAS isnt it. Then whats wrong in girls loving cricket?

  13. maybe.

  14. i m dev

  15. gotta do something about the boredom.

  16. No. Why are cricket supporters so obsessed with thinking that cricket is a morally superior sport to all others? Its a game, a sport just like every other. Only members and administrators have conditioned us to think its something bigger and better. A legacy from the elitist, aristocratic administrators of the game I think. The phrase "its just not cricket" is such an exclusive statement, it automatically sets up an "us vs them" mentality - and this is from the gentleman's game????

So no. nothing wrong with a few s**y girls, fireworks, drinks, money, movie stars etc in cricket because the fundamental offensive/defensive strategy of the game is not being compromised and if such traditionalist choose to focus on only on the peripherals then there not really interested in the game of cricket are they? In summing up "dignity" or "Spirit of the game" is just a loop-hole for prejudice selectors - its not required. It doesn't set cricket apart it makes it look archaic. Its a sport, you compete, you do what you can to win on the field. Can you imagine Maradonna admitting to the hand of god or David Tyree admitting his foot was out of bounds while catching a touchdown pass? Same applies off the field, you do what you have to do to bring in the spectators and attract new markets. Hopefully with more money in cricket we will see some serious competitiveness - in fact we may have glimpsed it with Ganguly insisting the Umpire use the instant replay in a game against the Rajasthan Royals.

  17. nope i still like 2 watch cricket n enjoy it  but still agree that drinking on field is not good
