The Dark Knight Movie?

Question

Would anyone reccomend me seeing this movie?

I haven't seen a batman movie before, well one actually but I can't really remember it. But the Dark Knight looks really good and I've heard it's amazing. Should I see it? Or do you have to know all about Batman to understand it?

i havent seen it yet but i want to and i havent seen any batman movies but for some reason i want to watch it because it looks big but go for it watch it!

I would say you should see Batman Begins first, but it's not essential.

The dark knight I would say is the best film of the summer so strongly recommend you see while it's out at the cinema.

This is the best batman movie and no you don't need to see any other one just go see it, it is awesome movie you do not need to see batman begins to understand the movie and plus batman begins sucked compared to this one

I haven't seen any of the other Batman movies but I went to see this one, My dad wanted to take me. I'm 21 and he's 53 and I didn't want to go, but I loved it. It was one of the best movies that  I have ever seen. I even went back with him to see it a second time. It is totally worth seeing at the movie theater. And you don'T need to know the other Batmans to see it...because if so, I wouldn't of seen it.

Well, I saw the film recently and am not a Batman fan. What did I think? Excellent, even for a girl who isnt into action films! Heath Ledger portrays The Joker in a really good way, in some parts the film is really creepy! It's a must see.

I would recommend seeing this movie for sure. It was one of the best movies I've watched this year. I don't think you have to know all about Batman to understand this movie. The acting of the Joker was done amazingly as well, you would probably enjoy seeing this movie.

It would help to see Batman Begins first, but it's not necessary. I would avoid all the other Batman films (See the Keaton ones later) to avoid confusion though. The storylines from inception are not the same between the Burton and Nolan versions.

but I would recommend seeing "batman begins' first, it was released about 3 years ago, it also fantastic. THD is the 2nd movie in a planned trilogy.

Watch Batman Begins then you'll understand it more... its the first one in the latest serious. The Dark Knight is the 2nd.

Yes ! go see it but rent the first Batman movie with Christian Bale in it before going to Dark Knight. In the first  Batman is the primary character and the second one the Joker is more prominent.

The Dark Knight is an AWESOME movie. You really don't need to see Batman Begins but it was great to.

I thought it was good but very overrated. The movie was a very long and had too many plots and villians in it. If they had made Joker and Two-Face in seperate movies I think it would have been a lot better. Also, when Christian Bale acts as Batman it is very laughable. Oh and Heath Ledger was increddible

I guess I would recommend it but I just recently saw this movie and everyone else was so amazed and grabbed into the movie but me ugh... I mean I love batman and DC comics and the movie was pretty good but I was not as in awe and wowed by the movie as everyone else was. The joker was great though and Christian Bale was so s**y but the movie to me didn't come out to be as great as everyone made it seem.

It ts the best batman film of all time! It is honestly the best out of all of the batman films. The film if full of surprises and it is Christian and Heath's best performance . It s full of non stop action and twist and if you don't think what I am saying 2 u is enough look at the all time box office records.. I have recommended this film to all my friends and family and they all have seen it and love it I promise u it will be on the edge of your seat!

I hadn't seen Batman Begins when I saw it but I still thought it was awesome. Like everyone is saying, Health Ledger is AMAZING in it and it is just an all-around exciting movie!

Totally worth the 9 bucks or whatever it costs to see a movie these days.

Yeah, it's awesome.  Go out and rent "Batman Begins" first though.  That should be all you need.  This one kind of picks up where that one leaves off.  But it's the best Batman movie made for sure.  The old ones are cheesy, these last two are phemonenal.

Go see it - you don't have to be a comic book junkie to like this movie and know what is going on.  Not only is it a good movie, but it is good value for your money as it is 2.5 hours long, lol.

All you have to know about batman is that he's a crime-fighting vigilante with the money to make a load of cool equipment. I'd definitely recommend seeing the film, also 'Batman Begins' which sort of sets up the story of how he became batman.

no other batman films are necessary to understand andenjoyr the film however Batman Begins is theprequell to this movie, and watching this (or at least reading the plot) will help you understand who all the characters are and what they roles are in the movie

Yes, go see it in theater, it is a great experience!  If you like action movies, you won't be disappointed, plus the acting is great.

omg its amazing. ive seen all the batman movies, and by far its the best one, and heath leadger is a amazing as the joker. its mostly all real too. meaning theres little CGI, and all the stunts are real. you dont have to know much about batman. it would help to rent Batman Begins (which is also a good movie) but its not necessary. ive seen the movie twice, and loved it both times, hurry to the theatre before they take it off the big screen!!

i am not a fan of batman and I enjoyed the movie...and I didn't follow any of the other movies either.  It was very good...some slow parts but you'll have that in about any movie I guess.  Heath Ledger's role as the joker was outrageous!  I really think that darn role had something to do w/ his death.  its just crazy and you'll be able to point that out too if you see it.  its worth the 7-8 bucks to get in I think.  Good luck!
