Ok you kmow when at the end Batman tells Gordon to blame the 5 deaths on him in order to have Harvey Dent's image clean, well how do you think all the citizens of Gotham are gonna take the news that Batman killed those people? Oh and how do you think they are gonna look at Batman? Like a hero or like another villain? Isn't it weird if they make a 3rd movie that Batman is gonna fight villains? So it's gonna be like a villain fighting another villain? What do you people think?

  1. In the beginning of the film, the citizens of Gotham were discussing weather Batman was really a hero or outlaw vigilante. Batman then realizes that he can't be the hero Gotham needs right now, they need someone with a face (Harvey Dent). So in the end when Harvey Dent turns into Two-Face, Batman sacrificed his good name to preserve Harvey's image so Gotham wouldn't lose hope.

Last lines: "Because he's the hero Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now...and so we'll hunt him, because he can take it. Because he's not a hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector...a dark knight."

Batman is more than just a hero even though the people don't realize it yet.

  2. for a while they prob will..but once two-face comes back it'll all be good...DUDE!!! im waiting for The RIDDLER!!!

  3. they will blame batman but he'll still be alive and wil eventually redeem himself, but harvy dent needed to die a hero so that Gotham could see a person could live a life of honesty and die still as a good guy

  4. Well if you read the comics or watched the original animated series, Gotham's citizens believed Batman was a bad guy with the exception of Jim Gordon, which the end of the movie clearly portrays.  Both Batman and Gordon wanted to preserve Harvey's image because they felt that the people of Gotham needed a hero with a face to show that they could take their city back from the criminals without donning a hi-tech suit and beating criminals to a pulp but by electing proper leaders who would take the legal actions necessary to retain their city.  So batman would be doing the same thing he was doing in the first place.  Fighting crime while breaking the law himself while helping Gordon.  The only difference is that the Major Crimes Unit won't be helping Gordon anymore.
