Okay, so I heard that Heath Ledger actually got Christian Bale to beat him up in one of the scenes (i think it was the jail cell scene). Does anyone know if it's true?

  2. SPOILER: Christian Bale stated in an interview that during the interrogation scene, Heath Ledger wanted him to beat him as hard as he could to get the real feeling of what was required from the scene.  

    I don't know 100% if its true, but I found that info on trivia on imdb.com.
