The Detroit Lions 3-0 in the preseason how good do you think they will do this year?

Let's not get overzealous about the Lion's just yet.

They will start strong and fall apart toward the end just like last year.

I dont think they will be very good, but i dont think that they will a few games. I do think that the NFC is better than what people give credit for  and there are a lot of yonng teams that i think will be impressive when the season starts. They will miss the playoffs on a very slim note

The preseason record does not mean anything. 3 years ago the Colts went 0-4 in the preseason and started 13-0 and finished 14-2. Also a few years ago the Raiders were 4-0 in the preseason but went 2-14.

they look solid. its the preseason though so i'm not getting my hopes up just yet.

Two years ago the Raiders finished the preseason 4-0, and went on to have the number 1 overall pick in the draft. While the Colts, almost never come out of the preseason above .500 but the seem to manage to get to the post season every year. Simply put, the preseason record means nothing.

Pre-season is useless in terms of using it for a forecast.  The Cowboys finished 0-5 in the pre-season in '91 and they ended up being the Champions.  Ever since, we've been getting some good records in pre-season but i've already forgotten what it feels to win a playoff game.  

Putting it a simple way: pre-season means nothing.

the team sucks. just because you win in preseason doesnt mean you are good. the pats have no wins, this doesnt mean anything. pats go to the playoffs and lions wonder what went wrong with their dumb qb saying 10 wins and they get 6 instead. by the way i hate both the pats and lions i was just looking for a good example of wins and losses
