now that they have Dunn who is helping everyone on the team to be a better hitter

And Webb wins nearly ALL his starts

and Jackson Reynolds Drew and Young are all on fire

they should be the CLEAR favorites over the Dodgers

  1. I said earlier I think they'll win, but now I have my doubts. I think the Dodgers will win the NL West.

  2. I think the Dodgers will have a lot to say about that.

  3. Yes they should

  4. I hope so.  It would not hurt if the Dodgers started to stink though.  It would make me feel better.

  5. Clear favorite NO, favorite possibly.

  6. I guess so but Dunn strikes out a lot too.

    Also consider he's hitting .193, 0 Homers and 3 RBI's in August

If he keeps that up he'll be hurting the D-Backs more than helping em.

Webb yeah and Haren is Pretty good

But Davis has given up like 3+ runs his last 10 starts

Only gave up less than that once in the last 10

Reynolds and Young strike out a lot too

    Jackson good I guess

    Same with Drew

Gonna go down to who is clutch in September

As of now Dodgers but anything can happen

  7. well Dunn is taking over for Hudson with and has more power where as the Dodgers got manny for no injured player. Webb may win most of his starts but no the ones he played LA and the bullpen blew it. With the way Kuroda is pitching and the LA staff, i think they are the favorites. They just swept Philly in 4 games and took 2 of 3 vs Milwaukee even though  it should have been a sweep. They are doing great vs a whole lot better teams. Arizona is beating mediocre pitching against Houston. Look what Oswalt did to them. The Dodgers are a much better balanced team the Arizona. I would take Kershaw and Lowe over Davis and Petit. Arizona may have a better ace but LA has a deeper bullpen and a better 2-5

  8. I'm going to agree with you on this one.  Adam Dunn is JUST what that lineup needed.  His presence at the cleanup spot makes every other hitter's job a little bit easier.  The aquisition of Jon Rauch may turn out to be one of the best moves of the season, too.  B. Lyon has been shaky at times, and his set-up men were average, at best, before they picked up the Nat's former closer.  Now if Lyon starts to crack under late-season pressure, they do have another proven closer they can fall back on.  The starting rotation, 1-5, is also stronger than LA's.

  9. No.  The Dodgers are the team to beat now.  The D-backs are done, stick a fork in them.  IT over.  And so it is for the Dodgers as well.  Both would be extremely lucky to get past the divisional series.  One of them is going to make the play-offs.  I would love to see the D-Backs go, but my guts tell me it's the Dodgers.

  10. It is going to be a good race down the stretch, the dbacks got dunn who is helping everyone in their lineup but the dodgers got Manny Ramirez who is helping everyone in their lineup.  Reynolds and Young are very streaky hitters and strike out half the time.  I don't know what happened to Chris Young but he hasn't really produced since he got his big contract.  I don't see how you see the dbacks clear favorites, i think it will be a great race down the stretch.  Go Dodgers!

  11. nope.  The dodgers have manny, and just having his presence in the dodgers lineup puts them over the d-backs offensively.  I know the d-backs just got dunn, but he strikes out too much and doesn't have good contact like manny does.

  12. They "should' be a clear favorite but they're not. They got Adam Dunn to replace their injured Hudson whereas the Dodgers got Manny Ramirez for almost nothing. Let's face it, it's a tough race between the Dodgers and the D-Back but it's all depends on who got the most momentum heading toward the end of the season. You say Jackson, Reynolds, Drew, and Young are all on fire yet so are the Dodgers' Andre Eithier, Jeff Kent, Matt Kemp, Russell Martin, and Nomar Garciaparra.

In the end, the Dodgers gonna get the most momentum.

  13. Nope I still Think The Dodgers will win it. The Presence of Manny Ramirez has energized this team alot.

  14. are you kidding, the dodgers have won 6 of last seven, and they faced the brewers and phillies.... They have been hitting well, and their pitching staff is excellent as of late. Not too mention that their schedule down the stretch is extremely easy. Dodgers win NL west easy.
