Well, it&#039;s been a while since i&#039;ve read the book, but if you really aren&#039;t sure, I guess I&#039;d have to say that her attitude changed towards her family and the other people living in the Secret Annex. She was confused about her feelings towards Peter and his attitude towards her both confused and irritated Anne causing her to become short-tempered with her housemates.

That&#039;s what I can come up with.
