The Digital(TV) Change next year?

Is it gonna make a diference...will it look better then HD? Clearier?

What is happening in the switch over on February 17, 2009 is that we are turning off the analog broadcasts, not beginning the digital broadcasts.

The ATSC DTV digital broadcasts of HD and enhanced definition television have been going on for several years now in parallel with analog NTSC broadcasts (plain old television).

HD (High Definition) broadcasts are already digital.  So there will be no change in picture quality.

And, yes, the digital quality has already been much better than analog.
