In fact, the NASDAQ is about 4% above its 52-week low. What's your take?

  1. It will not last for long, if the S&P and DOW keep dropping, as I think they will.  The NASDAQ will follow them down.

The entire world is deep in financial and inflation crises, and we have housing crashing, high unemployment, and rampant inflation.  I don't see much developments to hope for anything good coming through in the near future.

The feds played their last bullet, they are out of gas, out of ammo.  They have to raise rates to bring oil down, and to stop the inflation.  The economy will go to pot if they do - but they have little choice.

If they drop rates, the resulting inflation will kill the economy anyway, because people will be unable to buy food or gasoline, and we may see a depression like the 1930's.

If they are smart they will raise rates soon.  But I am NOT holding my breath.
