The EU has overshadowed the powers of any one individual European?

nation in the 21st century, yet witin the EU, individual states do have great influence if not power within the EU. Which two states do you believe exert the most power/influence on the other nations, and why?

  1. Every nation within the EU has equal influence in the Parliament comparable to their countries and population.

    I do not get why it would be such a bad thing to loose "national individuality" at all?

    The so  called national individuality did cost us wars and wars over the centuries .....

    and

    moreover

    there is a new individual construct : the EU

    even stronger and more powerful and therefore we all can face the rest of the global powerful, political constructs


  2. It would be Germany and then a tie with UK and France.

    This is because of the sheer size of the economies and populations.  The three also have massive cultural influences on different countries.
