‘The Ferrari World’- the first f1 thematic park in Abu Dhabi
Ferrari is the first of all the Formula One teams ever to come up with the idea of a theme park. This is surely going to one of the most fascinating and thrilling part of the world for all those Formula One fans who desperately want to undergo the experience
of the sport’s drivers.
This thematic park is announced to be inaugurated on 4th of November in one of the busiest hubs of the world, Abu Dhabi.
The speed and the emotion of the tricky and dangerous tracks of Formula One would be felt and experienced at this specially built theme park which welcomes the racers and auto lovers from around the globe. For the first time such an awe-inspiring space has
been built for the petroleum magnates and the lovers of deluxe cars.
After much discussion the venue for the park was chosen to be in proximity to the Yas-Marina Circuit of Abu Dhabi, which would make to people feel very close to the real circuit.
While talking to the media earlier today the only high level pilot of the Middle East, Khaled said, "The people of this zone love the speed. You perceive it when you handle in the street." Khaled himself competes in Porsche Supercup Series and is an ardent
fan of Formula One.
He continued on “It is something that we take inside. We like going rapidly and to win other in what is cars or horses."
The park holds an especially designed track with several amazing points. There is the Russian mountain where the speed goes up to 240 km(149 miles) and remains the same for an hour, followed by a vertical drop of 62 m (203 ft). The roof goes as far as 200.000
sq. m (2,1 million sq. ft) and is painted with Ferrari team colour; red.
The collection of Ferrari here is largely visible than anywhere else, and offers a great spectacle for the car lovers.
Moreover, the park also encompasses a restaurant which is immensely inspired by Mamma Rossella, a famous Italian restaurant and the most commonly visited place of the Ferrari crew men.
This park also gives the unique opportunity to the visitors to have an experience of the Formula One paddock. People can touch the Ferrari hardware that is used during the real race. Moreover, they also get the opportunity to learn the intensive work at the
pit stop like the change of tires etc.
The manager of Ferrari World, Andy Keeling while talking to the reports earlier today said, "It offers the emotion of the motoring, nostalgia…Let's not forget that it is a very entertaining place. It is neither a museum nor a place to sell cars and it has the
Russian mountain of Ferrari ".
