If a hole were to appear in the roof of Underground Train Tunnel that runs under the River Thames how far out into the out lying districts would the water flow if the floodgates in the Underground System were left open as most of the tunnels must be below water level.

  1. All the high current running through the live rail may boil off some of the water. And I bet the water pouring into the tunnel would make one heck of a whirlpool!

  2. I say sir, I can only infer from your question that you have wicked intentions toward the capital. Are you an evil overlord with nefarious schemes for world domination, that can only be confounded by the wily skillls of a handsome secret agent and his attractive young filly?

  3. you been watching "daylight" again?

  4. I should imagine that only certain underground networks would flood . Those that go under the Thames would be hit.
