  3. Firewood is the oldest and cleanest fuel for heating and cooking known to man. It has been used since the dawn of history and is still used throughout the world today.

  4. Obviously wood, coal and gas. The early humans would collect animal and human excreta, and cover this with an earth mound, then when the gasses were released, due to fermentation, would tap off the gas using reed or bamboo, to cook with light and warmth. When the gas ran out, the remaining residue would be plowed into the soil as fertilizer.
