  1. From your list only conflict theory or social interactionist are broad enough to be perspectives.  Social work and criminology are academic disciplines or professions.  Social Darwinism is really related to the conflict perspective.  Only the conflict perspective is radically different enough from functionalism - though I would not see them as opposite sides of the same coin.

  2. I would have to go with -C- conflict theory. Functionalist see people working togethet with interdependence and conflict people in a society are forced to fight or struggle for power.

  3. I would say C because structural functionalist perspective is Durheim and Conflict is Marx. and they always thought of the two opposing sides. Weber, in the middle, is social interactionist. :-)
