The Gain Feeds Corn Cuchulainn – Semi-Final awaits St Mullins Pride’s success
The Gain Feeds Corn Cuchulainn – Semi-Final will be the seventh time that the four-year-old black hound, St Mullins Pride, will race today. The race will be staged at Harold’s Cross on Friday, 6th July over 750 yards flat. Seeking to take home
the €75 prize money are Leap Of Faith, Navarone, Shaneboy Dream, Razdazl Dmagio and Lisnakill Jack.
Out of the six races that True Honcho’s black son took part in, he was successful at three instances. The four-year-old raced his seasonal debut on 20th April, 2012 over 726 yards. St Mullins Pride ended third in the race that was won in 41.04
seconds by, Shaneboy Dream.
The black son out of b***h, In Between, was declared not raced in the very next race on 27th April, 2012 over 726 yards. Skywalker Cindy won the race in 40.54 seconds.
The Mullett trained struck his first success of the season on 3rd June, 2012 over 726 yards by timing the track distance in 40.93 seconds. The four-year-old was crowded initially, and then finally led on.
Finishing the race the closest to the winner was, Leap Of Faith, who concluded the race after leaping through the four and a half lengths gap.
He could not really hold on to the performance level as he finished third in the race that followed. On 16th June, 2012, the black hound had to park third while the 550 yard race was won by, Stage Gold Gary, in 30.29 seconds.
This however was the last time that he lost because he did not lose any of the two races that came his way next.
Mullett’s under charge won The 2012 Gain Feeds Corn Cuchulainn 750 Round 1 on 22nd June at Harold’s Cross over 750 yards. He led from the fifth position after racing from the mid division, and took 42.06 seconds to settle the track distance.
The four-year-old won by a staggering fourteen lengths, and was soon joined by Navarone who timed the distance in 43.18 seconds.
St Mullins Pride’s most recent success was in the Gain Feeds Corn Cuchulainn 750 – 2nd Round – Heat 1 on 29th June at Harold’s Cross by completing the trip in 42.14 seconds.
The back to back winner is in for the third success in row.
