The Grade A1 500 metres flat race at Sheffield to fetch Skywalker Daisy a hat trick
The 7 to 2 shot for the Grade A1 500 metres flat, the two-year-old Skywalker Daisy notched up a back to back after failing to a dreadful fifth position in the third last try. The race will be hosted by Sheffield on Tuesday, 10th July. Participating for getting entitled to the £152 prize money are Stokette, Glow Of Summer, Angies Flyer, Proper Nora and Droopys Dayron.
Hondo Black’s two-year-old black daughter rolled into the new season on 5th January in a Grade A2 500 metres flat at Sheffield. The try failed to culminate into a success as she ended fourth after racing for 31.67 seconds while the race was won by the favourite entry, Swift Pit, who timed the track distance in 31.05 seconds.

On 26th June, the E. Parker trained won the Grade A2 www.sheffieldretiredgreyhounds.Co.UK at Sheffield over 500 metres. She led the field after the quarter, reaching the other end of the wire in 29.63 seconds. She defeated the runner-up, Newinn Jack, by just half length’s margin while he joined the winner after racing for 29.67 seconds.
The most recent success of the two-year-old was in a Grade A2 500 metres flat on 2nd July, 2012 at Sheffield. She was swift to race away and kept a highly firm grip o the lead for the remaining distance. She rested the race in 29.34 seconds and set the runner-up, Swift Pit, at a disadvantage of a head’s margin.
Coming at terms with the third position was, Bansha Jax.
Her chances of striking a hat trick by claiming the race tonight are substantial, but she will need to look out for Stokette who just posted a back to back and might be in the mood to extend it today.
