The Great Khali's Abilities?

I think The Great Khali should never have been hired by WWE as a wrestler. However, I have been reading about his trip home to India and the good reception that he has received. Do you think Khali would be better suited as an ambassador for the WWE to foreign nations like India than being an actual wrestler? I think if WWE wants to use him on TV so bad, they should use him as a bodyguard/enforcer for a heel and just keep him out of the ring.

lord knows what will happen if his translator got hurt and he had to tell the wrestlers who to wrestle

He's popular in India because most of them think WWE is real and they think The Great Khali is all that.

Well he does have some ability. He can lift up his arm, bring it down, and hit the top of someones head. He can EVEN squeeze someone's head. Pretty talented huh??? LOL

i think they should of never hired him. he is a waste of money. they barley use him. they only use him when they need one more quick match. he should go back to india.

The Great Khali was the first person of Indian Descent to become a World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion. He would not be as popular and help WWE gain access to different television markets in India and draw fans into the arenas if was just a bodyguard or ambassador. Yao Ming would not have helped the NBA gain access and build a huge audience in China if he were not agreat player and playing. The Great Khali is a better wrestler than when he first started. Is he Chris Jericho? No, but he is a power wrestler who can continue to add more wrestling holds and wrestling moves.

i don't have anything against khali 'coz i deem that he's a gentle giant but yeah, i must agree to what you've said.. i think the wwe should've used him in a different way, not as an in-ring performer.. & yeah, i think he'll be good at being wwe's ambassador to india & other asian countries..

Well In My opinion The only reason that The Great Khali has so much fame in his home country of India is because he is a WWE superstar. I think if his role were reduced, his popularity would suffer. I do not know much about the professional wrestling scene in India but from the coverage that I have read, it seems like they pass pro wrestling off as more of a legitimate sport than entertainment. I think that it’s great that Khali is so popular in India but his wrestling is downright terrible.
