How much does it cost and i heard that if u enter quick enough u get a free bike, is it true???

  1. They use to give out free bikes, if you joined before a certain date - if I remember correctly it occured in 2004, 2005 & 2006.

    I missed last year's event, so I don't know what early-bird deal they had in 2007.

    The bikes were entry level hybrids/flat bar-road bikes - not the most flash bikes on the road but they seemed to survive the journey okay.

    This year, instead, there was an offer of a $140 gift card and a 40% discount voucher from Anaconda OR $100 off the entry fee, if people signed up early. But I suspect, you might be a bit too late to get those offers (the early bird offers usually run to the end of July)

    Regardless of the above - it's a really fun event, with great scenery, cosy campsites, quaint country pubs (if you are of legal age) & ample entertainment. You won't regret taking part!
