  1. C'mon people.  Read your history books.  Ancient Greece was comprised nearly of the entire world minus Asia and North/South America and parts of Africa.  Greece, the country that exists today, is only a small fraction of what was Ancient Greece.  The origin of the Olympics is a part of almost everyone's heritage.

  2. They have won 1 silver medal and 2 bronze which puts them in 46 place on the medal table.

  4. Greece is a small country, and isn't as industrialized as most western nations. They don't have a huge sports system but they are present in the Olympics. They have hurdlers, weightlifters, and wrestlers.

  5. I know, I haven't seen Greece anywhere in the Olympics so far but the Opening Ceremony. I am so             wondering what happened to Greece. The Greeks invented the Olympics, so I wonder where they are. Have they been competing yet or what is going on?
