The Green Shirts are ready to take on the mighty England, feels Misbah ul Haq – Cricket News Update
Pakistan captain, Misbah ul Haq, believes his team is well prepared for the series against England and the Green Shirts are confident of dismantling the number one ranked Test team of the world in the series in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/United-Arab-Emirates-c3033 (UAE).
The first Test of the series between the two teams started today at Dubai, with Pakistan brutually bowling out the English team.
The series between the two countries is expected to be a very close one as both the teams have been playing high quality cricket since the last one year. England happens to be the number one ranked Test team of the world, whereas, Pakistan has not lost a
Test series since the controversial tour of England in 2010.
Some cricket analysts believe that Pakistani players did not practice enough before this all-important series. However, Misbah refutes saying that his team has been constantly playing cricket all this time and so they know what to do.
Misbah said, “We have been playing cricket regularly for the last three months. We just played a series here against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Bangladesh-c747 and played a Test series there. So I think this is good preparation for us.”
There is a general perception that http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c749 is a better team in bowling friendly conditions as compared to the batting tracks of the sub-continent.
Pakistan's captain feels that the English team is under pressure and desperate to win the series in order to prove to the world that they can play in such conditions as well. However, the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 captain understands that his team will have to be on its
toes during the series.
“I think they [England] are looking to do better here because in these type of conditions they want to prove that they are an even better team. So I think this is a good contest and also, it provides a challenge for our team to just play well against the
top team in the world,” said the Pakistan captain.
