As the question said my graphics card has two DVI outputs on it. The HDTV I want to get doesn't have a DVI input but does have two HDMI inputs.

Side question: Since it has two should I be able to use the picture and picture to my advantage? Such as, connect my HDTV to the satellite receiver with the componenet cables and connect computer with HMII and be able to watch them picture and picture?

  1. Go to Best Buy and get a Dvi to Hdmi adapter, but you will need to run a seperate sound cable because dvi doesn't support sound

  2. You can probably pick up a less expensive one at WalMart or Target.  I forget were I got a Phillips DVI to HDMI cable with gold plated connectors for $26.  Best Buy often has expensive Monster cables which are not really any better.

Typically PIP will only work for 2 different types of sources, so it should work with component and HDMI at the same time, but not 2 digital sources.

  3. Yes.

Go get a Cable or Converter that has DVI on One end, and HDMI on the Other!!

That is what you need! :)
