The needle struck a long pin holding fabric together; the pin was driven down below the needle plate and had to be pulled out. It felt like the pin was hung up on something when I pulled it out.There is now a clear 'ticking' sound with every rotation of the hook race. It feels like it's hitting the bobbin holder, but I can't see where.The machine still works, but I'd like to get rid of the sound and make sure nothing else was damaged.
