The Italian golfing ace Francesco Molinari is performing wonderfully well in the HSBC Champions golf event, which is being held in Shanghai, China. Currently the twenty eight years old veteran Italian is sharing the lead of the points table of the HSBC tournament
with the new world number one golf ace Lee Westwood.
The day was quite wonderful and lucky for the Italian as he showed his best talent and playing form and made his rivals suffer. Molinari finished the day’s play by carded a splendid fourteen under par to finish at sixty seven. On the other hand, the thirty
seven years old British top golfer Lee Westwood showed his talent and capacity pretty bluntly by finishing his day at thirteen under par. Whereas his compatriot Englishman Luke Donald shared the third spot with the former world number one American golfing
legend Tiger Woods.
The fourteen title winner golfing giant Tiger Woods played an impressive game and finished the day at under par seventy three. His improved playing form is no doubt very dear to him as he has been able to clutch his good form back after a long time.
Despite of finishing the day with a three under par seventy three, the American veteran Tiger Woods seemed pretty upset with his performance and expressed his thoughts and feelings very disappointingly. Woods said that the day was not good for him as he
missed some good chancing of putting the ball. He added and said that he was not able to hit the ball and that is probably the reason he has not been able to finish the day at a better position.
Woods told the media about his performance and said that he was totally out of touch and finding it difficult to hit and that is why he is very upset about his performance.
Not only Tiger Woods but the current world number three, twenty five years old German ace golfer Martin Kaymer and Tiger’s compatriot forty years old golf veteran Phil Mickelson endured a tough and disappointing day as well.
Currently the German Martin Kaymer is twelve shots behind the current point’s leaders Lee Westwood and Molinari and Mickelson is one shot further behind Martin.
The Italian ace Molinari showed his great capabilities with staggering game of golf. He carded a thrashing hole from the distance of one hundred and fifty yards to snatch the lead of the day. His recent performance has no doubt given him a new boost in his
struggle to win the ongoing lucrative HSBC golf tournament.
Molinari expressed his thoughts while talking to the media and said that he is very happy with the way everything has gone. He added that he will start the next day with a shot lead from his arch rival Lee Westwood and so far, he is very happy about the
fact. The twenty eight years old said that his current position is very strong over the points chart and he is very sure that by performing like this he will win the event.
On the other hand, the Englishman Lee Westwood seemed pretty happy about his performance as well. After the day’s play the Briton told the media that the day was fantastic and he has played really well. He added and said that he is hoping for the best.
While talking about his game the English veteran Lee Westwood told the media that he is very well aware of the fact that he has not won a major title yet but this is the best chance for him to win a first major golf tournament for him. He added that so far,
he has been a constant performer and he will try his level best to keep the winning streak alive. Lee said that he has shown the world that he is the best around and that is why he is the current world number one.
