The Indian media attacking Indian players have started?

Media and ex-players are calling for sacking of senior players.They are saying that they are no more fit and should retire gracefully.

Indian media, selectors and the senior players have made the most irrational comment, and at times, they behave like insane people. The outcome of a single match is so important to them that they make villains out of the senior players. Why can't they consider of those many occassions where Sachin, Sourav, Dravid and Laxman have led us to victory? The fact that the seniors failed in this match, doesn't make the youngsters great! Perhaps they would have been even worse failures had they been subjected to the mesmerizing spells of Murli and Mendis.

I think the BCCI should arrange Senior India XI Vs Young India XI tournament, and see which team wins. Only then can this senior junior debate be put to an end. This controversy is going on for too long, and I think it has started affecting Indian cricket.

The blame culture is obviously still alive and well in India. There is always someone to blame for the misfortunes of the Indian team. In Australia it was bad umpiring, cheating, and lack of sportsmanship on the part of the Aussie cricketers. In the Asia Cup Final, it was because the senior players were absent, and Dhoni was a poor captain.

Now it is the senior players who are to blame.

When will India be graceful in defeat?

And don't get me wrong, I like India, and think on occasions they have had some justification in their complaints. But they need to be able to accept that sometimes, other teams just play better.

Why media alone? The selectors are also watching how magnificently out stalwarts are performing. It's time that they act in favor of the Indian cricket.

who are they to ask any players to retire??....even those senior players were failures many times in the past....while media is always iss paar ya uss paar they are really insane and irresponsible they are only worried about their TRPs

India underestimated Muralitharan ... How can you boast yourself as one of the most professional teams around and still afford to do that?

What has surprised me is the attitude of the team. I could not have imagined senior players throwing away their wickets in the first innings and then Dravid in the second innings, did not walk even when he knew that he clearly knicked the ball and Mahela has gone for the review???
