Does it start up this weekend? I heard on Fox News that they start it up this weekend but other people say this is not the case.

I heard that they were starting it up today, but mostly for testing purposes - it doesn't really get started on the science part until Sept 10, and it will take probably until 2010 to get up to full working conditions.

Tests are scheduled to run soon like they were back in 2003 except this time they will be testing a wider range of experiments. Any scientific endeavors won't be started until September 10. It will probably take up to 2010 to get it up to full power which will be required for making black holes and some other ground breaking experiments.

I can hardly wait until they get it up and running.
