Is it out dated based upon others religious beliefs & therefore there cannot be common ground?

  1. It is rubbish.  It was when it was first composed and is so now.  The history of communism is the history of NAZIsm and social fascism.

  2. I think that it is more relevant than ever. We have more than enough divisions in the C21st - religion, race, class, gender or even just the way people choose to dress. When kids can get bullied at school for wearing the wrong brand there is something seriously wrong with a society. Anything that seeks to unite humanity, rather than divide, is a good thing.

My favourite version is the heavy metal one by the Chinese band Tang Dynasty:

    Another is John Lennon's "Imagine":

  3. as a trade union member i feel it is...especially as our country (ireland) seems to be going down the tubes..

  4. Greedy people don't like to cooperate with others until they get huge profits.
