Soldiers are getting killed and the public is aware thanks to the media, they always where anyways.

As for not, we need the oil?

I don't think we should have gone there in the first place, but since we have, we need to stay until the country is stable or someone even worse than Saddam is going to take over.

I'll give you some reasons why we shouldn't leave without a functioning government.

there will be a power vacuum left and we know nature abhors a vacuum.

there are several scenarios.all out civil war which Iran will take sides and exert it's influence.thereby taking over.if not civil war Iran will move in with troops and take over.

Iran will have even more money from the oil there to further export their Muslim agenda by either funding groups or militarily and be even a greater threat to the region as well as the west.
