The Job? what about it?

Hello,

First i'd like to point out that I'm only 15 years old so I have some opportunities for jobs.

My question is:

What should my career be?

Well most of you are thinking this is one of those questions which just says: what should i be when i grow up?!

Well it's not.

Here are some things I like

My favorite subjects are Math and Science, also I like to work with Computers.

I was thinking a Civil Engineer, but I found out that their pay was pretty low, considering that they work pretty hard.

I was also thinking a Physicist, but I don't really like to work with humans, I'm not happy with this job so much but the pay is really good.

I also thought architect but I'm not too sure about that.

are there any other jobs that use Math, Science and Computers?

Or should I pick some of the above? If you are any of those jobs tell me if you like it and if your life works out.

Remember, I'm dreaming big, not small, so I don't need one of those "Oh well you will never get any of those jobs" answers.

Thanks a lot to all who answers.

:-O

  1. Math, science & computers! NASA is scared that they won't have the engineering talent needed to explore space and the planets because there is such a shortage of students with your likes as far as studies are concerned. Physicist, no human skills needed. Physician, some human skills needed.

Think physicist, think electrical engineer. Civil engineer would more than likely be a waste of your talents. Keep up the studies in math and science and you can write your own ticket in 10 years.

  2. you "do not like work with humans" that really narrows the job down -- i would say that any research job where you deal with things and not people!!!  say something in metal fatigue taking on the stress problems!!
