  1. Since 1885, the Bicycle brand has been manufactured by the United States Printing Company, which, in 1894, became the United States Playing Card Company of Cincinnati. The U S stands for the name of the company.


  2. that's a good question, I always thought those were dollar signs. I should really pay more attention.
