More footballers up to no good, what are your thoughts

Hey, they are from a Melbourne based club, remember!

It doesn't matter that four players were involved in two separate instances - the club, the AFL & the Melbourne public will go into denial & use the excuse that it was only youthful enthusiasm!

It is only when it involves a player/s from a state other than Victoria does it warrant umpteen question topics in this forum, for several weeks thereafter.

I think it's a bit like those (fantastic - I love 'em) ads for Hahn Premium Light ...... "whaaaaat?"

Let's face it, quite often around football circles we're just not dealing with the intellectual giants of a sensitive new world.  We're dealing with guys who watch the ad where the guy's fishing from the gondola, check the size of the fish and go "oh yeah cool idea - hey honey, wanna go to Venice?"

So the boys are warming up for the season proper .... whaaaat?

From what was said ... it sounded like a pretty good shin dig, i mean think about it if you hold a party at a winery you know its going to be an alcohol event.

Considering the 2 reports i've either read or heard via newspapers, TV, and internet are completely different. One said there was a fight or "brawl" which was pepper sprayed under control, and the other stated that Edwards passed out from drinking too much.

Edwards is still pretty young, and when you consider that Grants parents were there too, it makes you wonder how much of it is real and how much is fabricated. Either way the club will deal with it and everyone will know more soon enough.

There is a group of people known as media who earn a living reporting on football.     Their basic survival interest depends on a story .    On one side you have talented people with the ability to earn a living  playing  football , on the other side those that simply don't,  and exist only as a critics.   Anyone can be a critic, it takes no "talent "    to be critical, or find fault  anyone.
