Question:

The King's Academy Georgia?

In 5th grade(I'm in 7th grade) I went to King's Academy Christian school. My parents decided it wasn't right for me. I really think I belong there. I love that school. Sure, they were a bit strict. But, they always have the student in mind. What do you think? Should I go back for the 2009 school year?

  1. If that' s where you have your heart set then you ask that superintendent to pray about it,even the pastor & see what happens. I know how BJU is home to many & how they love it, so try it. I can understand how you feel, but your parents do have the say so.. They need to know what you feel & why & too there may be another reason for them not putting you back in. It could be finances.

  2. Err...until you're 18, your parents (as your legal guardians) are the only ones who can enroll you in school, therefore if they don't want you to go this particular school, you don't get to go.

Having checked out their website, I know my parents'd never go for it, if I was you.

Do you know *why* your mum and dad decided it 'wasn't right' for you? Was it something you did? Or something the school/teacher said or did?

I reckon you *may* have more chance of changing their mind if it was something you said/did. Pretty tough to see how you're going to change their opinion of this school/its staff if their thoughts are based in philosophical/fundamental differences of opinion with the school itself.

If you really reckon that school is the best place for you though then pretty much all you can do is talk to your mum and dad and see if you can't convince them to alter their opinion of the place.
