'cause if you do then I'm going with Michael...

possibly the greatest showman in the history of modern music plus he co-wrote or wrote most of his biggest hits...Billie Jean - arguably one of the best pop songs ever was written solely by him...

he was a hit with the Jackson 5 and then on his own...not many people can do it twice...

he was actually inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame which really says something...

his global influence cannot be touched and will probably never be equalled...

and i say this as a die-hard metal head - i would take the King of Pop any day of the week...of course calling him pop lumps him in with many talentless "musicians" like Britney and the rest which is a real travesty...but i guess the same goes for Madonna...
