They are consistently one of the best teams in baseball every year how come they lay a egg every post season. They have great pitching but the redsox steamrolled them in 2004, white sox beat them in 2005 and the 2007 the redsox again beat them. How come they can't win the playoffs?

  1. The problem with the (LA?) Angels is that the regular season stats don't carry over to the playoffs, they've got nothing to play for then! Maybe Anaheim you should trade for A-Rod, he's always good for a playoff slump!!!

  2. I think this year they have more depth than any other.

    Look what happened to 2004.

Guillen got suspended just before the playoffs which i think made a big difference both physically and mentally for the whole clubhouse. Glaus was just coming back from a season long injury. And the Angels pitching wasn't as solid.

This year's offense is way more deeper and stronger.  Besides, who would be the team that stops the Angels.

The Red Sox aren't as strong without manny, and the white sox are beatable this year, even with Griffey Jr.

The angels are the true Juggernaut this year in the AL.

  3. Because October is a whole new season. Picture Peyton Manning of the Colts (NFL)

He was constantly one of the best QB's on one of the best teams in the NFL, but he just couldn't seem to win in the playoffs. A couple years ago he finally went all the way. Maybe this year is the Angels' year.

  4. as an indians fan i can tell you.... the world is against us man
