I need a short summarize of the Leaning Tower of Pizza. It can be written in VERY simple form (something that a grade 4 would write).

Pisa is a city in Italy where in the 14th century a tower was built with engineering flaws.  During the building, it became apparent that it was leaning to one side.  To combat this issue, the other side was constructed with taller pillars.  However, these pillars were not only taller, but heavier and therefore simple exacerbated the problem.

The tower is still standing, but tourists are no longer allowed to go inside because it is considered dangerous.  It could collapse at any time.  

It is probably only allowed to remain because it is now considered historical.  If a building like this were made today, it would violate building codes and would be torn down.
