The Lego Gold Brick key chain?

I got one of the Lego Gold Brick 50th anniversary key chains off of ebay. It only looks gold if the light shines on it a certain way. Mostly it looks silver. Is this just how they are or was I sold a bootleg? Please help I got this for my son and I know very little about Legos. Thanks.

  1. i think its just the way it has been made, i looked on google just them and it looks gold on one pic then on another it looks more silver.
