The London eye?

Question

If you were to travel to London, would you go on the London Eye. I for one could not bring myself to do it. Know I would be missing a beautiful view, but dam , it is way up there!

Yeah, I thought the same thing, especially after I got on.  But once you get used to the fact that it is moving (heights while moving makes me uneasy) the views are amazing and it is def. worth it.  I also went to the top of the Eiffel tower and that was much higher (and a faster ride LOL).  Bring someone who can convince you that is what made me get on. LOL! Trust me you won't regret it.  Email me if you want to see pictures!

The view from the London Eye is fantastic...few mounths ago there was a FIAT 500 on the top....

Don't miss it..... It was one of my favorite things I did in London....Go near sunset and the views and colors are astounding..... It's amazing how this thing was built.....

Of course it is a little disconcerting to see people sweeping under the benches for explosives but we do live in strange times..

Seriously, go and ride.... you'll be glad you did.

I've been to london, my bf is from England, we never made it to the eye, I'm agoraphobic (recovering) and also terrified of heights, but yep I'm going on it definitely when I get a chance next.  You can get tickets that coincide with Madam Tussaud's, so I'll definitely do the duo.  Only way out of fear is through it.
